UC Davis, November 1969
In '69 I started
doing radio programs for the music department at KPFA. One of my first
assignments was to interview John Cage in residence at UC Davis. In
that interview, now lost, I asked John where he was going next. His
answer filled an entire hour. Here Cage is performing Eric Satie's "Vexations".
