Cleaned up my venerable Nikon F2 and snapped in my trusted 85mm 1.8f Nikkor lens and shot a roll of Tri-X a few weeks ago, just to see if the old thing was still alive. And I guess it is, as demonstrated by this image taken at our neighborhood cemetery. I used this camera for almost 20 years, and shot the bulk of the images on this photo blog with it. And altho is weighs considerably more than my more recent film camera, the N80, and my new digital D80, it still is a joy to use, even if the light meter is a bit wonky.



But this is a good sign, and I'll be using it more.
